Solves “Charge Back” Dilemma for the Retail Supply Chain

Companies announce Shipping Validation Solution (GR-SVS) that enables Retail suppliers to automatically reconcile shipments to the ASN prior to outbound shipment

As ASN initiatives continue to roll out across North America , suppliers are increasingly faced with the prospect of ensuring an accurate ship count to the expected ASN, or face high dollar charge backs. COMMERCEWorx’s

CWX*RUNWAY, a modular approach to complete RFID and EDI compliance, leverages its C3000i*ASN product offering to resolve this issue. EDI data generated in the C3000i is combined with the additional ASN related data to deliver a complete EPC data solution. CWX*RUNWAY contains not only ASN required data such as the SSCC number, but also the EPC data.

Utilizing GlobeRanger iMotion software platform, the GR-SVS solution marries and verifies, through the use of RFID enable packages, the actual ship quantity to the expected advanced shipping notice. When discrepancies occur between the ship quantity and advanced shipping notice, GR-SVS automatically flags and stops the package shipment, allowing supplier reconciliation to occur.   

According to the VCF, (Vendor Compliance Federation) charge-backs continue to be a huge problem for Retail Suppliers. To address this, and many other compliance issues, the VCF continually delivers seminars and workshops to introduce new compliance policies and new technologies that can prevent compliance deductions.
